Flag Day 2009

This year, the annual NUS Flag Day will be held on 4th August, and we would like to appeal to every single one of you to come down and help out! 20 different beneficiaries, catering to people of all ages and all walks of life, are chosen from the Community Chest to benefit from the donations gathered. Hence, every little bit counts to make their lives a little brighter! Just imagine the number of people you would be helping just by devoting a day’s work during Flag Day!

We’ll be chartering buses to different locations all over Singapore. This would make travelling to the flagging areas much easier and convenient for all of you.

Also, the SWOCs will also be providing a thank-you supper at the end of the day! This is to thank all Shearites for putting in your best effort to raise funds for the beneficiaries :)

So come down on 4th August and let’s collect Flag together as one united Sheares hall and bleed orange!
